ChemDraw for Excel Plugin Compatible with 64-bit Microsoft Office?
I can't get the Dhemdraw add in for excel working. I see it in my add-in list, it's even checked, but nothing appears in the Formulas panel. I have 64-bit Office and 64-bit ChemDraw. Do I need 32-bit of either of these to get this working?

Gaussian 16W with Chem3d
Hi
Am running the newest version of Chem3d (I believe 19.1.0.8) and am having issues interacting with Gaussian 16W (in particular, every time I try to do a job, I get an out of memory error and have to modify the job)
With what I have seen so far doing an internet search the problem appears to be that I have to use an earlier version of Gaussian, which I can't get (just recently bought that license for my University). I would much rather use the CHEM3d to set up Gaussian jobs as that is much easier for my undergrads to understand rather than have to teach them how to use Gaussian and Gaussview.

Chemdraw 18.1 Round Trip Editing With Microsoft Office 16.16.1 Mac
I had roundtrip editing working perfectly, then it stopped working. is anyone having issues with this configuration of chemdraw and office as well??? I tried opening a powerpoint and noticed the "CS Draw Plug-In" disappeared. I used was roundtrip editing earlier in the week.

Chemdraw 17.0 Bond Lengths Not Fixed
When I try drawing a structure in Chemdraw 17.0, the bond lengths are not fixed when I click and drag. Instead, I click and can make the bond any distance and it does not stop. They are only fixed when I click on an atom and allow the software to draw the bond itself. This is a problem as then I cannot make bonds at a specific angle.

Chemdraw inverting brackets on export to EPS
Good afternoon, I am currently resuming the preparation of a large manuscript for publication (>100 schemes) after a long break. As I am relying on a LaTeX module to automatically insert structure numbers, all schemes are exported as encapsulated postscript (eps) files.
When I received an email to announce the release of ChemDraw 18.2, I upgraded from ChemDraw 18.0 to 18.2.0.48 while reinstalling Windows 10.
As many of my structures involve chains with varying lengths, I often have to resort to using the paranthesis tool in the main toolbar to place ( )n. Before upgrading, exporting the structures to encapsulated postscript (eps) showed the correct schemes with the parantheses in correct order ( ).
Since the upgrade to 18.2, exporting the schemes to eps inverts the parantheses to show as ) (n.
Is this a known problem? And if so, is there a fix available?

functional group count
Is there a way to get a list of functional groups for a molecule preferably from a SMILES notation in an Excel spreadsheet? Atom types are defined in Chem3D but you have to hover over each atom to see the assigned type. Maybe there is an existing macro or function that can do this?

ChemDraw 19.1 Splash Screen
The splash screen of ChemDraw in my Wibdows 10 64 bits stays on top of all applications, it does not get hidden when I click on another application (MS Word, Outlook). It means that for the few minutes it takes to load on my old laptop with challenged memory, I cannot do anything else as the screen is obscured by it.

In the menu, it is possible to add + and - charges for atoms. It would be nice to be able in a simple click to add "d+" and "d-" (d here is for the lowercase Greek letter delta, this forum does not allow me to set the font to Greek).

Chemical Formula higher by 2 hydrogens
I keep getting an addition of 2 extra hydrogens (2 amu) to the molecular weight of some structures converted from SMILES strings. This seems to happen only for a subset of structures that are somewhat more complicated. I have Chemoffice 19 plug-in for Excel 365 ( windows 10). When I use ChemDraw or our internal tools the problematic structures are converted to formula and Mw correctly. I only see the error in Excel.

Create a new Harmony database in an office PC
Hello,
I would like to create a new Harmony database in an office PC (not device PC).
The idea would be to be able to work offline with the database independently of the device computer attached to the Opera Phenix.
This will liberate a lot of space from the Opera computer and in addition I will not be worried about someone switching off the user session or the computer attached to the device when I'm running stuff in the office PC with Harmony installed.
However, the installation software only allows me to create a new database in a device computer, and not in an office PC (with a very scary caution message if I create a new database in an office PC...)
How can I do this? What are the problems I can face if I install the new database in an office PC?
