When you publish in Columbus a Measurement's results are made available on the Columbus server as a tab delimited text file. This result file can then be downloaded through the Columbus interface or via the Columbus Connector in Spotfire. Downloading via publishing yields a single file per result and involves fewer steps than using the Columbus Export view, thus can be more convenient.
